[ INDEX ] Equine Type: Horse Breed: Andalire [ PREV ] [ NEXT ]
Breeding:
Andalires carry at least 25% Spanish blood, which can be that of an Andalusian, Carthusian, or a Pure Spanish Horse. The remaining blood needs to be that of a Shire. In order to comply with this rule, in Horse Isle, crossbreeding of Andalires with other breeds except for an Andalusian, Carthusian, or a Pure Spanish Horse is not allowed.
Conformation:
The conformation of the Andalire can be described as that of a long-legged heavy Andalusian. The legs can have some feathering, but not nearly to the same extent as the Shire's. The mane and tail are either silky or wavy, with the tail being long, thick, and carried low. Coarse manes are not found in this breed.
