Breeding:
Andaloosas carry at least 25% Spanish blood, which can be that of an Andalusian, a Carthusian, or a Pure Spanish Horse. The remaining blood needs to be that of an Appaloosa. In order to comply with this rule, in Horse Isle, it is
Mane type:
The manes of Andaloosa horses are either short or medium in length, probably because of the leopard gene. Therefore, in Horse Isle, Andaloosas will receive a heavy penalty for having a non-characteristic long mane. In addition, the mane can be silky or wavy, but not coarse.
Gait:
Real Andaloosas are not gaited. However, the Andaloosa breed is not judged based on its performance, and is not required to perform as a sport horse. Therefore, in Horse Isle, while Andaloosas are not naturally gaited, the ambling gait can be bred into them.
Leopard? Great! Grey? Not so much...
Andaloosas always carry at least one copy of the leopard L allele, and therefore have an 'appaloosa' coat. In Horse Isle, there is a sub-registry for Andaloosas who were born with a solid coat (see the 'Solid Andaloosa' for more info).
Ideally, Andaloosas don't carry the grey gene, because it causes the leopard pattern to fade. However, since there are no 'official' guidelines that ban grey Andaloosas from registration, and since Andaloosas could inherit the grey gene from their Andalusian parent, then in Horse Isle these horses can carry the grey gene, although it is rare.
Performance metrics:
The following are the: range, average, (SD), and MOE of performance metrics of ordered Andaloosas in Horse Isle (not bred ones). In rare cases,
Speed: 14.9-16.8, 15.9 (0.4), 0.07.
Sprint: 61-74, 68 (3), 0.52.
Accel: 1.05-1.24, 1.17 (0.04), 0.01.
Decel: 0.98-1.13, 1.05 (0.04), 0.01.
Jump: 5.07-5.32, 5.18 (0.06), 0.01.
Pull: 2.18-2.87, 2.57 (0.15), 0.03.
Turning: 62.15-73.88, 67.82 (2.66), 0.52.
Reverse: 2.9-3.5, 3.2 (0.1), 0.03.
Stamina: 48.76-55.47, 52.79 (1.18), 0.23.

Coats & Height:
Colors: all colors except for dominant white, dominant black, and mushroom.
Breeding notes: mushroom and dominant-black can be bred into Andaloosas, but will incur a small penalty because they require an Appaloosa with the blood of an American Quarter Horse or an Arabian, respectively.
Additionals: flaxen, linebacked, rabicano, roan, all rare patterns. The coat is always leopard.
Markings: pinto markings are not allowed, and therefore Andaloosas will be penalized for having overly loud markings.
Height: 14hh to 16.2hh.
