The Bimanese is a subtype of the Sumbawa breed.
Bimanese ponies are bred in East Timor and in East Nusa Tenggara Island. They are usually smaller than the Sumbawa, and often have a dark bay ('brown') coat. They stand between 11.1hh and 11.3hh.
