The Cape Mountain Zebra (Equus zebra zebra) is one of the two subspecies of the Mountain Zebra (the other one being Hartmann's Mountain Zebra.) It roams only in the mountains of the Western and Eastern capes of South Africa.

Height:
Compared to Hartmann's Mountain zebras, Cape Mountain zebras have thicker dark stripes. They are also shorter, and stand between 11.1hh and 12.2hh.
