An American Zebu?
The Miniature Zebu (also 'Nadudana', meaning 'small cattle' in Hindi) originated in India. Starting from the early 20th century, it was imported in small numbers to the USA. Its official breakthrough happened in 1991, when enthusiastic breeders established the International Miniature Zebu Association (IMZA).
The Cow-pony Miniature Zebu:
Today, there are two American associations for Miniature Zebus: IMZA and AMZA (American Miniature Zebu Association). The Cow-pony Miniature Zebu is a fictional breed based on pictures of IMZA Zebus and the breed standard provided by AMZA. It is intended for players who are interested in breeding unique-looking miniature ponies.
Conformation:
In general, the Cow-pony Miniature Zebu combines equine traits with traits seen in real Miniature Zebus.
The head is medium in length and has a convex profile, a short muzzle, and horizontal (though not floppy) ears. When it comes to horns, some Miniature Zebus have horns while others don't. To mimic this in Horse Isle, Cow-pony Miniature Zebus can either have or lack frontal bosses.
Other characteristics include a neck that is medium-to-long in length, a straight or slightly-arched back, and a sloping croup. The hindquarters are round and muscular, the girth is deep, the legs are medium in length, and the hooves are small but strong.
Cow-pony Miniature Zebus lack manes and feathering. Their tail is very thin but can grow long.
A massive hump:
Similar to other 'zebu' cattle breeds, the most striking character of the Miniature Zebu is their massive hump, especially in bulls. The Cow-pony Miniature Zebu also sports massive withers, although they are not as towering as seen in the real Miniature Zebu.
A large dewlap:
The real Miniature Zebu have a large dewlap that extends from the underside of their neck all the way to their chests. The Cow-pony Miniature Zebu doesn't have this feature, but it does have a thick neck and a prominent chest to mimic the effect.
Performance metrics:
The following are the: range, average, (SD), and MOE of performance metrics of ordered Cow-pony Miniature Zebus in Horse Isle (not bred ones). In rare cases,
Speed: 11.6-12.7, 12.1 (0.3), 0.06.

Coats:
Colors: black, chestnut, or grey.
Additionals: brindle, mealy, roan, sooty. The coat is either solid, leopard, few-spots leopard, white-spotted sabino, or pintaloosa.
Markings: facial markings or leg markings, rarely both (unless has a non-solid coat).
Height:
Height range: 6.2hh to 10.1hh, with no penalty for shorter heights.
Size vs. LegLength:
Most Miniature Zebus are 9hh or taller, but they can be as short as 6.2hh, which is why they start at this height in Horse Isle. That said, there is no official minimum height limit for the Miniature Zebu.
In Horse Isle, there is no penalty for breeding Cow-pony Miniature Zebus of smaller sizes. The cow-ponies still must have proper body proportions, and therefore there is full penalty for breeding ponies whose legs are too short.
