The Dark American Mammoth Jackstock ('Dark Mammoth Jackstock' for short) is an American Mammoth Jackstock that has a dark coat. It is the most widespread type of Mammoth Jackstock, and was favored for centuries for the breeding for dark mules.

Dark Mammoth Jackstock jacks are often crossed with Percheron mares to produce Percheron Mules (see the 'Percheron Mule' for more information.)
