The Desert Mongolian (also known as 'Tes') is one of the four subtypes of the Mongolian horse. It is adapted to life in the Gobi desert, where it primarily roams.

Desert Mongolians are usually palomino or buckskin in color, though they can come in other colors as well, except for frame-overo, mushroom, dominant black, sabino, and manchado. They stand between 12hh and 13hh.
