The Dutch Riding Horse is a subtype of the 'Dutch Riding Horse and Pony' breed. It has at least 12.5% Arabian or Anglo-Arab blood.
The breeding program of Dutch Riding Horses allows them to be crossed with Thoroughbreds and sport warmbloods. However, because Dutch Riding Horses must have at least 12.5% Arabian blood or Anglo-Arab blood, in Horse Isle they are allowed to be crossed only with Arabians and Anglo-Arabs.
Dutch Riding Horses are usually brown, bay, black, grey, and chestnut, but they can come in all of the colors that exist in the Arabian and sport-warmblood breeds. In addition, they can also have leopard and pinto coats. Dutch Riding Horses stand between 15.2hh and 17.2hh.
