[ INDEX ] Equine Type: Horse Breed: European Brabant [ PREV ] [ NEXT ]
The European Brabant is a subtype of the Brabant breed.
European Brabants are characterized by their heavy conformation, and thick feathering. In fact, visibly speaking, it is the amount of feathering that differs them the most from the American Brabant that has almost no feathering.
European Brabant horses come in the colors of bay, chestnut, and, more rarely, black and grey. They often have a roan coat as well. Brabant horses stand between 15.2hh and 17hh.
