The Ganzi is a subtype of the Tibetan horse. It is well-adapted for carrying heavy loads up the mountains of Tibet, which are among the highest mountains in the world. Mares are also raised for their milk.

Conformation:
Compared to the 'typical' Tibetan horse, Ganzi horses have large chests, and longer necks and legs. The rest of their conformation is typical, meaning that they have a short head with small ears and a straight profile, a straight back, and sturdy legs and hooves. The mane and tail can grow thick.

Coats & Height:
Colors: bay, black, brown, and chestnut.
Additionals: flaxen, linebacked, sooty.
Height: 12.1hh to 12.3hh.
