A draft horse is a heavy horse suited for pulling and carrying heavy weights. These horses have a wide, muscular body, with muscular necks and hindquarters. Draft horses are known for growing into incredible heights, especially horses of the Shire, Belgian, and Percheron breeds. However, most draft breeds stand between 15hh and 16hh and some are as short as 14.2hh.
