[ INDEX ] Equine Type: Horse Breed: Miniature Gypsy Vanner (Mini GV) [ PREV ] [ NEXT ]
A Miniature Gypsy Vanner (sometimes called 'Mini Gypsy') is a Gypsy Vanner smaller than 38" (9.2 hands). It is a new breed which, as for 2019, is still being developed. The aim of the breeding program is to achieve a miniature horse with the conformation and appearance of a Gypsy Vanner.
The creation of this breed often involves crossbreeding it with other pony breeds. To differ this breed from the purebred Gypsy Cobs, Miniature Gypsy Vanners are also called "Miniature Gypsy Horse" (rather than "Miniature Gypsy Vanner").
In Horse Isle, Miniature Gypsy Vanners stand between 7.3hh and 9.2hh.
