[ INDEX ] Equine Type: Horse Breed: Mountain Bashkir   [ PREV ] [ NEXT ]
The Mountain Bashkir is a subtype of the Bashkir breed. Mountain Bashkirs are smaller and stockier than Steppe Bashkirs, and are well-adapted for living in mountainous regions.

Mountain Bashkirs come in the colors of bay, brown, black, chestnut, cream-dilutions, grey, dun, and roan. They can also have a tobiano, sabino, or spotted (Appaloosa) coat, though the latter is extremely rare. In addition, they often have primitive markings. In Horse Isle, Mountain Bashkirs stand between 13.1hh and 14hh.
