The Muniqi (also 'Maneghi', 'Miniqi') is a desert-bred strain of the Arabian horse, which was developed thousands of years ago by the Bedouin tribes.

Muniqi Arabians have a light and athletic build, yet have less endurance than other desert-bred Arabian strains. They are good sprinters, though, and are therefore more suited for racing than the other desert-bred Arabian strains.

Colors: usually bay, but can also be chestnut, grey, dark bay (brown), and more rarely dominant white.

Additionals: flaxen, rabicano, sooty, white-spotted, all rare patterns.

Height: 14.2hh to 15.2hh, with most horses being around 15hh.
