The Park-type Morgan (also known as 'Show-type Morgan') is a subtype of the Morgan horse, which was created by crossing Morgans with American Saddlebreds. They were created to serve as harness horses for harness shows.
Park-type Morgans have a lighter, and sometimes taller, build than the original ('Foundation') Morgan, and also have high-stepping gaits.
In Horse Isle, a Park-type Morgan must have one parent which is either a Park-type Morgan or an American Saddlebred, to ensure that the foal has Saddlebred blood in them. The other parent must be a Morgan, a Foundation Morgan, or a Park-type Morgan.
Park-type Morgans come in a variety of colors, except for pearl and champagne. They can also have a sabino, frame, or splash coat, but not tobiano. Show-type Morgans stand between 14hh and 16hh.
(For more info about the Morgan breed, see the 'Morgan.')
