The Percheron Draft is a subtype of the Percheron horse. It is heavier and stronger the Diligencier Percheron, and is therefore usually used for heavy draft work and for pulling competitions.
In Europe, Percheron Drafts come only in the colors of grey and black. In the USA, however, bay, chestnut, brown, and roan are also accepted.
Coats & Height:
Colors: usually black or grey, more rarely bay, brown, and chestnut.
Additionals: flaxen, roan, dark mane and tail. The coat is always solid.
Height: 15hh to 19hh
