The Solid Andaloosa is a sub-registry within the Andaloosa, that is intended for Andaloosas who were born with a solid ('non-appaloose') coat.
Breeders should note that Solid Andaloosas
This is due to several reasons: first, they cannot have more than 75% Appaloosa blood, hence no crossing to Appaloosas; second, the breeding aim of Andaloosa breeders should be to produce foals with leopard coats, but crossing a Solid Andaloosa with a Pure Spanish Horse or with a Solid Andaloosa will result in a solid foal. Crossing a Solid Andaloosa with an Andaloosa is not possible due to technical limitations.
In the end, though, the Solid Andaloosa is merely an official registry for Andaloosas who were unintentionally born with a solid coat.

Additionals: flaxen, linebacked, rabicano, roan, all rare patterns. Per definition, Solid Andaloosas always have a solid coat.
Markings: pinto markings are not allowed, and therefore Solid Andaloosas will be penalized for having overly loud markings.
