Wait, what is an SMSH?
A Spotted Mountain Saddle Horse (SMSH) is any Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse that has a pinto coat. Solid-colored foals who are born to two SMSH parents, or to an SMSH parent and a KMSH parent, can be registered as KMSHs.

Coats & Height:
Colors: usually flaxen dark-chestnut, but all colors (and dilutions) exist in this breed except for dominant-black, dominant-white, mushroom, and pearl.
Additionals: flaxen, linebacked, rabicano, roan, sooty, all rare patterns. The coat is always pinto and can be tobiano, frame-overo, sabino, or splashed-white.
Height: 11hh to 13.3hh.
