The Tchenaran is an Iranian horse breed, which was created in the 17th and 18th centuries, by crossing Turkmen mares with Persian Arabian stallions. The conformation of the Tchenaran horse is similar to that of the Persian Arabian.

Tchenaran horses have excellent endurance and decent speed, and were therefore used as racehorses. In addition, thanks to their Turkmen ancestors, Tcheneran horses come in a large variety of colors, including colors that don't exist among Persian Arabians. The average height of Tchenaran horses is 14.3hh, and in Horse Isle they stand between 14hh and 15.3hh.
