About:
The Xilingol was created in the steppes of the southeastern region of Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia, during the 1960s. Its development involved crossing Mongolian horses with Thoroughbreds, Akhal-Teke, Sanhe, Kabarda, and Don horses.
Xilingols have good speed and endurance. They serve primarily for riding, but they also perform light draft work, and the mares are regularly milked.
Conformation:
Xilingols have a squarish head with a straight-to-convex profile, small ears, and large eyes. Their neck and back are long, giving their body a long, rectangular frame. The croup is low and has a light slope.
The mane is straight and is short or medium in length, but the tail can grow long.
