The Zhongdian is the smallest subtype of the Tibetan horse. It originated in the valleys of Tibet, and, similarly to other Tibetan subtypes, it is exceptionally adapted for walking over the high, mountainous terrains of Tibet while carrying cargo or a rider on its back.
Conformation:
The conformation of the Zhongdian is similar to the conformation of other Tibetan horses, except for their head which is narrower.
Coats & Height:
Colors: usually bay or chestnut, but also black, and brown.
Additionals: flaxen, linebacked, sooty.
Height: 11.3hh to 12.3hh
